BETTER THAN BLUE

Lower carbon at no extra cost

Choosing Nitrasol Liquid Fertilisers brings together lower-carbon sourcing, dependable supply and efficient delivery to your farm, without a price premium for our lower-carbon production approach.

The Nitrasol Difference

Our UAN comes from efficient production in Trinidad, where CO₂ generated during the production process is incorporated into useful products. Combined with efficient shipping, portside manufacture and direct delivery to your tank, Nitrasol reduces unnecessary handling and the emissions associated with your fertiliser supply. It’s what we call Better Than Blue.

Thinking about liquid fertiliser for spring 2027?

Moving to liquid fertiliser starts with planning storage, tank installation and application. Winter is a great time to explore your options, with a liquid conversion assessment tailored to your farm.

Cost and Workload

Switching to liquid changes how fertiliser is stored, handled and applied. Your conversion assessment explores the practical costs, potential time savings and benefits to your farm’s workload.

Storage and Install Timing

Typically we can work with you to arrange a site assessment, install a tank onto your preprepared concrete base and fill the tanks within a 6 week timeframe, and quicker if necessary. If bunding is required, this will have to be in place before a tank can be filled.

Nitrasol’s UAN is sourced from Proman’s efficient production in Trinidad, using high-calorific-value deep-well gas. CO₂ generated during the production process is incorporated into useful products, avoiding the need for costly carbon capture and storage. This delivers lower-carbon fertiliser without a price premium for those production benefits—an approach we call Better Than Blue.
