In response to a strategic shift to the use of liquid nitrogen fertilisers by farmers across the UK, Brineflow is strengthening its commercial team with the appointment of Jonathan Down to lead sales growth in Southern England.
Jonathan joins us joins us from ACT, where he has spent the last 5 years as Area Manager leading sales in a wide variety of agricultural inputs, primarily fertilisers. He is FACTs qualified and has previously held roles at SOYL.
The UK market has seen significant disruption in fertilizer supply with many solid fertilisers becoming unavailable or in short supply. Leading farmers are now considering switching to liquid to secure supply and to become more accurate in application and productive.
Brineflow’s modern Nitrasol liquid fertiliser terminals provide comprehensive coverage from Scotland to the South Coast with the capacity and capability to supply at times of peak demand. Long term supply agreements provide security of supply from international shippers. The Nitrasol system is engineered to reduce total emissions by about a fifth compared with other commonly used nitrogen fertilisers.
